Researcher (Telesales)

Permanent

£30,000 + Commission

South West London

Our client is a leading Tier 1 Design & Build company known for delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions. Based in South West London, they pride themselves on their strong client relationships, exceptional project delivery, and a collaborative team environment.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Researcher for a telesales role to join our client's dynamic Business Development team. The successful candidate will focus on cold calling to qualify warm leads, building rapport, and gathering comprehensive information before senior team members book meetings and submit bids. Additionally, they will actively seek out new leads.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calls to qualify warm leads through proactive and engaging telephone communication.

  • Build strong rapport with potential clients to gather detailed and relevant information.

  • Record and update lead information accurately in the database.

  • Collaborate with senior members of the Business Development team to ensure smooth transition of qualified leads.

  • Assist in booking meetings for senior team members to present and submit bids.

  • Actively identify and pursue new leads through research and outbound calls.

  • Provide regular reports on lead qualification progress and insights to the Business Development team.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to better qualify and generate leads.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a cold calling, telesales, lead generation, or similar role.

  • Excellent telephone communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong ability to build rapport and gather detailed information over the phone.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to lead qualification and generation.

  • Interest in the construction industry.

  • Previous experience in the construction or design & build industry is a plus.
