Networker

Permanent

£100,000 + 1% GP (£150K OTE)

Central London

A fast-growing and established Design & Build contractor based in Central London, having doubled in size over the past three years with a current turnover of £35 million. With plans to grow to £50 million over the next five years, the company is focused on delivering high-quality office fit-out projects across London, with 70% of their business coming from repeat clients. They are now looking to expand their new business efforts by bringing on a seasoned Networker to drive growth.



The Networker will be responsible for driving all new business operations in London, tasked with generating between £7 million and £10 million of new business annually. This role is essential to the company’s ambitious growth plans, and the ideal candidate will have an established network within the office fit-out sector. The Networker will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and securing new clients, helping to further establish the company as a leader in London’s D&B market.



Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage all new business operations, focusing on securing office fit-out projects ranging from £5 million and above.

  • Leverage an existing network of contacts within the London commercial fit-out market to generate business opportunities.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed annual new business targets of £7 million to £10 million.

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and opportunities within the office fit-out industry, identifying key opportunities for the company.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, developers, and real estate agents to secure future business.

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality pitches and presentations to potential clients, ensuring the company’s values and expertise are well-communicated.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including pre-construction and project delivery, to ensure client needs and expectations are met.

  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to promote the brand and strengthen market presence.



Key Requirements

  • Proven track record in a similar business development or networking role within the Design & Build or office fit-out industry.

  • Established and extensive network of contacts within the London commercial fit-out market, including developers, clients, and decision-makers.

  • Strong understanding of the office fit-out market, with the ability to identify potential clients and develop tailored solutions.

  • A results-oriented individual with a proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets of £7 million - £10 million annually.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster long-term partnerships.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling pitches and proposals to high-level clients.

  • A proactive and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.



Qualifications

  • A proven track record in business development or sales within the Design & Build or commercial fit-out sector.

  • An extensive network of industry contacts within London.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
