Our Client is a fast growing, turnkey fit out specialist based in Central London. They take empty commercial spaces to fully fitted out and complete CAT A and B solutions. Specifically, their plug and play turnkey products makes them a trusted partner with blue-chip clients.
They are prominent in bringing global issues to the forefront of their design. Designing with sustainability in mind, through their 6 strong design team.
They are looking for a contracts manager with a track record of running CAT A and B projects with experience in D&B contracts. Alongside day-to-day contract management you can expect to:
Work with clients and contractors whilst building working business relationships.
Communicate with stakeholders and the team to coordinate construction workload.
Manage challenging situations.
Bring strong attitude to personal and interpersonal success and growth.
Ensure that profit is made whilst maintaining relationships and opportunities with commercial awareness.
Utilise your strong financial skills and experience to negotiate and win financial opportunity.
Requirements & Expectations
Have experience running simultaneous refurbishment and fit out projects
Driving programmes via the delivery team. Not accepting slippage or excuses.
Meeting regularly with clients, third parties and managers to report on progress
Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
Reporting to clients and board members on project progress
Driving performance against agreed criteria
Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
Dealing with contract disputes and mitigating the impact of any issues
Working in an office and on a construction site.
