As Technical Services Manager, you will work closely with our Senior Technical Services Manager, and the sales, design, pre-construction and delivery teams to oversee and deliver MEP services for our London office.

The responsibilities and opportunities of the role:

  • Support the sales on new business opportunities. This includes undertaking site surveys, reviewing as built information in order to assist with feasibility and building selection
  • Production of technical documentation for pitch / tender submissions
  • Communicating and collaborating with our team to integrate / align services design with the building and fit out requirements
  • Reviewing MEP subcontractor costs and design submissions and communicating with the supply chain to provide professional excellence and best value
  • Provide expertise in terms of coordinating subcontractor design, reviewing site performance and quality management.
  • Managing the commissioning and witnessing process and the accuracy of documentation issued
  • Ensuring our projects meet Environmental and Local authority requirements
  • Attending meetings; presenting ideas and progress reports to both colleagues and clients
  • Contribute to client strategy & proposals to capture their business need and identify the appropriate service offering
  • Advising clients on how the building services will operate once the building is complete
  • Being aware of Environmental issues within your field; advise clients on how to achieve their targets in terms of sustainability and low carbon design, including BREEAM / LEED / SKA and WELL requirements
  • Working as part of a team and from an engineering and technology perspective, to provide increased opportunity for revenue and business growth
  • Foster and grow a network of key market contacts who can influence our business opportunities Required skills / attributes
  • Relevant qualifications including HNC / HND Building services
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A determined and committed team player who understands the importance of closely supporting and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the best results
  • Proven high level of M&E knowledge and H&S awareness
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management; ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Energy, drive and ‘can do’ attitude is essential; demonstrates initiative
