Our Client have a main contracting and sub contracting offering and are currently working with a tier 1 main contractor managing a joinery package on a 400 unit residential project based in West London over 52 weeks. They are now recruiting for a Site Manager to manage the day to day running of the site.
- Managing and motivating our site team to ensure the project is delivered with top quality standards and efficiently in a safe working environment ensuring
- You must have experience in managing construction projects of a similar nature
- You must have experience in leading and developing team within the joinery industry
- Coordinating on-site labour providing clear and direct instructions, monitoring attendance and progress and ensuring site operatives have all required information
- Taking ownership of health and safety on site, ensuring strict compliance with RAM's and company safety policies and procedures
- Monitoring programme of works
- Ensuring quality control measures are in place, maintained and recorded Updating six-week programme on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
- At least three years' experience managing/supervising high-end joinery/fit-out projects
- Qualifications in SMSTS/SSSTS; CSCS card (black or above); first aid; and PASMA (preferred, but not essential)
- A proven track record with understanding of specialist joinery and the ability to understand technical drawings; and knowledge of site management processes, means and methods
- Excellent communication and motivating interpersonal skills, able to communicate with clients at all levels and highly skilled at leading, and developing a team
