Our client is a specialist fit out and refurbishment main contractor who operate across London and the South East of England. They pride themselves on offering a tailored experience to their clients, built on collaboration and high-quality delivery.

Established only 5 years ago, they have grown consistently year on year and are on target to achieve a profitable turnover of £65m+ for 2020, and this will be coupled with a bulletproof balance sheet. 

The business is spearheaded by two directors with over 20 years’ experience each within the London commercial fit out market and both are able to boast an enviable list of notable projects within City and West End landmark buildings.
 

They are now looking to further expand their growing business with the appointment of an additional Estimator to the Pre-Construction team. Within the role you will be working autonomously on the following areas:

  • Evaluating submission documents and agreeing bid strategies.
  • Preparing works packages including take offs and generating sub-contract and supplier enquiries.
  • Measuring from first principle
  • Building and manipulating supply chain relationships
  • Compliance checking of sub-contract and supplier enquiries and submissions.
  • Preparing competitive, comprehensive and professional tender submissions software
  • Leading pre-submission discussions and adjudication panels
  • Responding to post submission client enquiries.
  • Attending to post submission client interviews.
  • Leading handover meetings to the operations team.

Candidate:

  • Experience in estimating fit out projects over £10 million
  • Be capable of preparing quantities in accordance with standard methods of measurement.
  • Possess a wide knowledge of the construction process and forms of construction including ability to identify alternative build solutions.
  • Possess exemplary communication and negotiation skills.
