A high-profile building contractor that operates over a diverse range of key sectors that include Residential, Education, Leisure and Commercial.
Project values are predominantly between £1 million to £15 million and range from the light specialist refurbishment of listed buildings to high end specification new build.
Office based in Surrey, projects will typically be Design and Build Residential and Housing Association bias. Project valuations will typically range from £2M to £10M.
You will have a proven track record as an established higher intermediate Quantity Surveyor and ideally your project background will be from a Residential or Housing Associate perspective. You will have experience delivering Design & Build or Fit Out / Refurbishment projects from £1M - £20M and New Build experience will be highly desirable.
Critically you will have detailed Commercial contractual knowledge, possess excellent negotiation skills and strong knowledge of the full project lifecycle from pre-tender to post award. You should be commercially aware and financially astute with a focus on minimizing risk.

- Management of day to day quantity surveying tasks including valuations and subcontract procurement
- Internal financial reporting
- Maximising profit & return
- Cost forecasting & Risk Management
