Our client

Our client has developed from a plumbing and central heating services to private end users in and around the Braintree area of Essex to an established provider of the complete building services package throughout London and the South East.

They provide services covering all essential building services including design and installation services.

The role

They are now looking to further expand their growing business with the appointment of an additional Mechanical Estimator to the Pre-Construction team.

The candidate

Must have Commercial Office fit-out experience – Cat A and/or Cat B

To undertake Mechanical & Electrical tenders by reviewing and completing the tender forms and ensure they are within the given specifications.  Perform evaluation of the tenders and provide the pricing in a timely manner.                                                                                 

Responsible for maintaining professional working relationships with clients and sub-contractors.           

Obtain estimates and prices from sub-contractors and suppliers respectively

Prepare/issue of tenders in line with the tender documentations provided.                                   

When required getting involved with site surveys.                                                                            

When required getting involved with design after the training period.                                              

Follow up tenders and assist with securing projects.                                                            

Provide leadership for continuously improving the process for estimating.                                      

To have knowledge and understanding of the health and safety regulations.
