They work in different business streams, catering for projects ranging anywhere from £50k through to £30m +. KEY DELIVERABLES
- Provide assistance to Estimating Team including but not limited to:
- Collate and file all incoming tender documentation for Lead Estimators
- Setting up Evaluate (Estimating Software); training/ guidance will be provided; typical task includes: General setting up
- Upload tender information and 8build standard documents
- Upload client CSA/Pricing document
- Work packages lining up against CSA/Pricing document
- Supply chain bid list
- Measurement
- Issue Tender Enquiries and addendum information
- Supply chain interest/ commitment / chasing
- Communication with subcontractors prior to, during and post tender period for gauging interest/ commitment and chasing tender returns
- Subcontractor Tender Return Tracking
- General administration including typing, distribution, copying, archiving, and filing general correspondence
- Advanced roles if capable: training/ guidance will be provided Performance bond enquiry
- Specific insurances requirement
- Picking up missing elements not on CSA/ Pricing Document
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated - desirable
Good telephone manner
Confident and presentable manner
Attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to communicate articulately, positively and effectively
Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
