Our Client are specialist company operating in a variety of sectors within the high end fit out market and are looking to employ an experienced and dynamic Commercial lead.

They are specialists in their field delivering Museum and Hotel fit out projects and with over 25 years’ experience they have worked on some of the most iconic buildings in not only the UK, but Europe, America and across the Middle East.

The Role:

They now seek a Commercial lead to manage a Senior Quantity Surveyor and an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working on Museum fit out projects. The role will involve front end procurement, working closely with design teams and managing the transport and project delivery for UK and oversea based projects.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a main contractor background with an understanding of high quality Fit-Out project. You will need to be able to build strong supply chain relationships with a variety of contractors who may be based in Singapore or the Philippines as examples, the projects they delivery mean you will need to procure as locally to the projects as possible, they do already have a strong global supply chain for you to use/develop.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Commercial Manager looking for an opportunity to join a well-respected company who have an excellent reputation and to work on some unique and bespoke projects which no other UK company can offer, their main competition is a Spanish Contractor.

Duties include:

•           Discussing projects, problems and solutions with Board Directors

•           Quantify and qualify risk for projects

•           Planning and delivering competitive pricing strategies

•           Tender adjudications 

•           Invoices/insurances and bonds

•           Managing sub-contractor and supply chain relationships.
