We have an amazing opportunity for a Business Development Researcher to join with a leading workspace design and build fit out contractor in London who provide tenants and office occupiers with a complete package for whatever their relocation or refurbishments needs may be. Their clients are some of the most prestigious companies within their field and often have above average requirements. They are looking to take on two Business Development Researchers who are tenacious, competitive, and bright.

  • Providing support to the BD team in terms of research and client calls
  • Coordinating team effort on key "strategic" client acquisition
  • Targeting and filtering opportunities
  • Contact data research using online subscription resources and archives, heavy use of LinkedIn and Lusha is imperative, also thinking outside of the box is preferable here
  • Data input, manipulation, maintenance, and nurturing, using Microsoft Dynamics and the new HubSpot which is inbound
  • Calling Campaign support, helping the team to deliver specific calling campaigns to assist in the growth of the business by building prospect lists
  • Assist in the monitoring of the database health and forecasting future needs
  • Assist in data cleansing processes of the database when we disqualify prospects etc

The ideal candidate will have some experience in a Business Development or Telesales role. To succeed you will need to bring:

  • A natural curiosity of business development and sales strategies with an understanding of research techniques either in or out of industry.
  • An excellent telephone manner and a high standard of verbal and written English to compose basic research reports
  • Familiarity with marketing/sales databases and CRM programs
  • Ability to work methodically
  • Data analysis resulting in useable market intelligence
  • Communicate with impact and able to build relationships easily and with confidence
  • Driving for results
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
