Team Bryant featuring Wanderers on Wheels - Bordeaux to Battersea Charity Cycle Ride

June 2013

Sadly Jo Bryant lost her battle with one of the rarest cancers on earth earlier this year. On January 12th 2013 she passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side. Jo may no longer be with us but her "never, never, never give up" attitude lives on in The Joanna Bryant Benefit Trust

Inspired by her blog, in June this year, a group of friends from her London hockey club "Wanderers" took it upon themselves to try and raise awareness of JB's situation and set off on a self organised 650 mile cycle ride from Bordeaux to their clubhouse in Battersea, London over 7 days. The event was a resounding success and a £10,000 donation from key sponsors, Granite Search and Selection, provided the base for another highly successful fund raising event for The Joanna Bryan Benefit Trust.
